Pokemon Black, Black Version 2, X & Y Greeted Me A Happy Birthday!

First of all, I would like to greet you (readers if any) a merry holiday! It's Christmas and also my birthday today! Happy birthday to me and to all Pokemon trainers who have their birthday today!

And of course, I would like to thank my game cartridge for greeting me a happy birthday. Please, don't think I'm insane. I am just surprised. The story is, I'm on a double time to complete my legendary Pokemons in Black Version 2 game, you know, Pokebank will soon to be release on December 26th (that's tomorrow) and i would like to transfer them there. The time i visited the Pokemon center, Nurse Joy greeted me a happy birthday, that's surprising (see screenshots below):

I'm thinking of selecting 'No' but i'm afraid she wouldn't ask me again and no more birthday greeting to me.

I also checked my Pokemon X & Y game and it is more surprising. Upon entering Pokemon center, the light is dim (see below):

And there was pop of confetti. Well, this is more surprising than the birthday greeting i received in Pokemon Black & Black version 2.

I was collecting Pokemon plastic models before when i was young. As far as i can remember, they're made by Tomy before and unfortunately they didn't survived as i age. Now that I'm back as a Pokefan again, I'm continuing the collection anew now with the Bandai plastic model versions.

I did look for more detailed Pokemon toys. As I observed, most of them were more of kiddie type qualities. Then, I found some made by Bandai, my favorite plastic model kit maker. You know, I'm a Gunpla collector too, I only collect MGs (here's a link to my Gunpla review blog: http://gunplassacre.tumblr.com/). Yes, I found Pokemon plastic model kit made by them, I'm expecting a good details to their figures and i think i'm expecting it just right. By the way, some hobbyist called it Pokepla!

I'm Gunpla & Pokepla collector now! Officially.

The first Pokepla I'm going to review is this big fat Pokemon named Terrakion. He was featured in the Pokemon Movie 15: Kyurem v.s. The Sword of Justice. I'm not really looking for this kit but it's the only cool Pokepla available at my favorite toy store - GreatToysOnline.com

New Nintendo Generation

It's been a decade now since i last played Pokemon Yellow ROM in my PC. Yes, I'm not playing the official cartridge game in Gameboy Color as I couldn't afford to buy another handheld game console back those years. I only have the original classic Gameboy Transparent edition which amazingly survived for that long eventually placed inside the bin and gone. My taste for Nintendo games grew weary as i age. My interest change. I became a gamer of Sony Playstation (PSOne) to Playstation 2 (PS2) then to PC games and so on.

But upon knowing the news about the latest generation of Pokemon game in 3D, I became interested and wanting to have my own 3DS.

So, I bought my 3DS XL. It feels like my younger days having my classic Gameboy Transparent box. I regret not taking care of that ancient handheld console.

I am amazed to the 3D screen. I feel like living in North Korea for a decade and escaped the country to try this technology. I already saw a 3D T.V. screen but not a device with 3D screen, in-hand. Very cool!
